Tours

Sintra and Cascais

A full day from the palaces of Sintra to the Atlantic coast, ending with lunch and a stroll in Cascais. One private electric car, at your pace.

  • About 8 hours
  • Up to 4 people
  • Private
  • €40 per hour, per vehicle + VAT

Sintra and Cascais are the classic day out from Lisbon, and for good reason: in a few kilometres you go from fairy-tale palaces in the forest to wild Atlantic cliffs and a relaxed seaside town.

We leave early to reach Sintra before the crowds, spend the morning among its palaces, and then follow the coast road past Cabo da Roca and Guincho down to Cascais for lunch. A full day with a driver and guide who knows the roads, the best times to visit, and the stories behind each place. Use it as it is, or as a base to design your own day.

Good to know

Can we change the stops?

Yes. The Moorish Castle, Monserrate or the cliff village of Azenhas do Mar can replace or join any of these stops. Tell us what you would like to see and we adjust the day.

Do we need to book palace tickets in advance?

For Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira it is a good idea, especially in high season, because tickets are sold for timed entry. We help you choose the times so they fit the route.

Can the tour start or end in Cascais?

Yes. We can pick you up and drop you off at your hotel in Lisbon, Cascais or Sintra.
