Terms and cancellation

The service
Green Private Tours provides private tours and transfers in and around Lisbon, in an electric vehicle with a driver who is also your guide. Each booking is for one vehicle, with 1 to 4 passengers.
Booking and confirmation
A booking is confirmed once the itinerary has been approved. We confirm it in writing, by WhatsApp and by email.
Prices and payment
Prices are per vehicle and are shown without VAT, which is added at the legal rate. Tailor-made tours are charged at €40 per hour plus VAT. Standard tours and transfers are priced by estimated hours and distance.
Payment is made in cash, by MB Way or by PayPal, in three parts:
- 20% when you book. Once we have confirmed your itinerary, we send you the MB Way or PayPal payment request.
- 30% at the start of the service
- 50% at the end of the service
What is included and what is not
Included: passenger insurance, bottled water, private transport in an air-conditioned electric vehicle, WiFi on board, and a driver and guide.
Not included: entrance tickets, meals, personal expenses, souvenirs and tips.
Cancellation and changes
- Up to 24 hours before the service: you can cancel free of charge, and what you have paid is refunded.
- Within the last 24 hours: if the cancellation is due to the customer, the amount paid for the booking is not refunded.
- Any other reason (for example if we have to cancel, or in a case of force majeure): what you have paid is refunded.
Where a refund is due, it is made using the same method you paid with, where possible.
Liability
We take great care to provide the service as described. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not responsible for delays or changes to the itinerary caused by traffic, road closures, weather, strikes, opening hours of attractions or other circumstances beyond our control. We may adapt the route for safety reasons.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or wilful misconduct, or any right you have as a consumer under Portuguese or European law that cannot be excluded.
Safety and accessibility
For safety reasons, the driver must remain close to the vehicle and cannot accompany passengers inside monuments or other places that require leaving the car. The vehicle is not wheelchair accessible. Service animals are allowed after confirmation.
